lol, so I got into a new game called Cardfight Vanguard, and like Yugioh, has an anime which is released on youtube. The characters in it are not as over the top like Yugioh, but still pretty cool. The above pic came from a screen-cap I saw from the anime ([link]), which I thought had some pretty strange looking facial expressions in it, so I wondered what those expressions would look like on Twilight and Spike.

Now I know XD

Hmm, what are the card types in this game?
Reply
:iconinspectornills:
only one type, unit (the monster) cards. The game is a bit simple compared to other games, but it gets a little deeper the more you understand.

Let me rephrase that, what unit types?
Reply
:iconinspectornills:
Oh, the unit types are called clans, there are the paladins, made up of the royal paladins, shadow paladins and the gold paladins, then there are the fire and dragon warriors called the kagero, and their cousin the narukami who are lightning and dragon warriors, tachikaze who are robotic dinosaurs, spike brothers who are demonic football players, angel feathers who are medical angels, dimension police who are super sentai space police, and a lot more.

Or maybe your referring to stuff like the type of units wherein there are grade only 0, 1, 2, and 3. The game progresses with your starting unit at grade zero and as the game progresses, they level up to the next level within each player's turn, the max which is grade 3. Each grade has its own special ability unique to its grade.

I see. Is this a real world thing or is this a free online game thing?

:iconinspectornills:
its a real world card game like Yugioh and Pokemon that also has its own anime series that's hosted by the company on Youtube, but I hear that, just like Yugioh, there is a website where you can play a virtual version of the game for free, not supported by the company of course. People usually go on that site to test out their decks before making it in real life.
